Gay Wedding Expo in Baltimore

August 22, 2010

Now that same-sex marriage is legal in Washington, DC, gay and lesbian couples in surrounding areas are visiting the nation’s capitol to tie the knot, even though their marriage may not be recognized in their home states

In a continuing effort to assist and encourage same-sex couples to exercise their right to legal marriage, Marry Me in DC, a partnership of Licensed Officiant, is hosting Baltimore’s first gay wedding show, The Marry Me in DC LGBT Wedding Expo, to be held August 22, 2010, 1-6pm at Club Hippo, 1 West Eager Street.

The Wedding Expo is an opportunity to connect gay and lesbian couples considering or planning marriage with gay and gay-friendly wedding service providers including photographers, bakeries, venues, and caterers, as well as legal nd financial planning experts- all coming together to help our attendees create and plan the wedding – and marriage – of their dreams.

Marry me in DC, founded by gay rights activist, Sheila Alexander-Reid is a firm of Wedding Ministers exclusively serving the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community.
