CAGLCC member Glen H. Ackerman was named co-president of GAYLAW, a bar association of legal professionals including judges, lawyers, and law students in the national capitol area working to advance the interest of the GLBT community.  In 2009, Glen and his colleagues in Ackerman Legal PLLC, were awarded the GAYLAW "Distinguished Service Award" for 2009 for their work in the GLBT community.

Glen  also has the honor of serving as the Mautner Project's first male Chair for their 2010  20th Anniversary Gala—20/20 Pefect Vision on Saturday, March 20. 
 

The CAGLCC, Metro DC's LGBT Chamber of Commerce, mission is to advocate, promote and facilitate the success of LGBT businesses and their allies in the Metro DC region.
