Mark Guenther to Become CAGLCC's First Executive Director

The CAGLCC Board of Directors has made another major move for our growing organization. On Tuesday December 8th, the Board of Directors unanimously voted to hire the chamber’s very 1st Executive Director.  We are proud to announce that Mark Guenther has accepted the position of Executive Director and will begin serving in this capacity January 2010.

This is a very exciting time for the chamber and we look forward to the great things that are about to take place.

Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position of Executive Director.  Many of you know Mark from his entrepreneurial days as a principal owner of Aviance Marketing, “The Other Pages” and others may know him from his work with the Washington Blade.  Here at the chamber we know Mark as the man behind many great programs and events such as, PEN/CAGLCC Annual Gala’s, The Breakfast Advisory Council, Network Thursdays and his latest mega success the “Mega Network”.

Mark has been pivotal in our transition in becoming the Capital Area Gay Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and is committed in our efforts to support the metropolitan LGBT business community. Please join us in welcoming Mark to this new position and PLEASE do all you can to support his efforts as the Executive Director of the Capital Are Gay Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
