Megan Wallace Admitted to Practice before the U.S. Supreme Court

Megan M. Wallace, Managing Member of Wallace Law, LLC, was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court on October 13, 2009.  The motion for the admission of Ms. Wallace was made in open court in the presence of all nine Justices. Less than one percent of all attorneys who are admitted to the Bar each year are sworn in during open court in front of all nine Justices.  Chief Justice John Roberts, Jr. approved the nomination of Ms. Wallace and welcomed her, along with other attorneys admitted that morning, to the Supreme Court Bar.  Ms. Wallace is honored to follow in the footsteps of her late grandfather, Gerald Cotter, who was also a member of the Supreme Court Bar.

Ms. Wallace maintains her own law practice serving clients in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.  Ms. Wallace focuses her practice on estate planning and probate matters, business law and tax-exempt organizations.  Ms. Wallace was admitted to practice the Georgia bar in 1997; to the Michigan bar in 1998; to the District of Columbia bar and to the Maryland bar in 2000; and to the Virginia bar in 2001.
